Three Very Important Challenges for the Black-American

Our problems as Black Americans cannot be reduced merely to gun violence. We must look at: 1. the lack of fathers in the home necessary to maintain a stable and forward moving ethnic group, 2. the lack of gainful lifestyle sustaining employment necessary to maintain an acceptable quality of life environment and 3. the insufficient educational paradigm that underserves our children (who will soon face the challenges that we now face). If we removed gun violence, we will have not moved the needle significantly in regard to our status quo if those other issues remain unresolved. Finally, this is not a one and done proposition; like a vessel piloting or navigating the waters, we must constantly monitor and correct the movement of our vessel through the waters of the ages.
