More on Gun Violence: Enact Reasonable Exceptions

Federal Legislators appear reluctant or even recalcitrant to raise the age to purchase rifles to age 21. They claim that it is a contradiction to allow a person to join the military and be taught and equipped to use firearms and issued firearms but prohibit the same in everyday society. The Legislators also have the same posture and position on requiring background checking whenever a firearm is purchased. They act as if they are unable to write reasonable exceptions into legislation that will address the irrational, unreasonable and erratic gun violence that takes the lives of our young people in the inner-cities and suburbs of our country. Legislators, man-up and woman-up!
